What is My Home Event?

My Home Event is a communication platform for Clients and Contractors to transact with one another the essay club write my essay rapid and arrange for bookings of Services directly with each other in a private capacity.

MHE is not an employer of any Contractor, and is not a catering company as such does not provide food, beverage or other supplies to Clients.

What kind of services can I find at www.myhomeevent.com?

Services offered by third party “Contractors” include but are not limited to, chefs, bar persons, servers, event managers, security, cleaners, musicians & hosts.

How much does it cost to book a service?

All Contractors set their own fees with an added commission for MHE, you will need to browse through the different categories and select your desired services (normally listed by hour), the cart will add it all up for you.

What defines 'Home'?

The definition of ‘Home’ for My Home Event is any space/location that the host considers their space for an event (house, flat, garden, office etc).

How do I know how many Contractors I need to book?

MHE will not provide you with any sort of guide regarding the number of Contractors or with which Contractors to book however MHE can recommend that you contact one of the Event Managers available under Other Services to guide you through the process.

Are there any time restrictions?

Contractors set their own availability, minimum length of service, and start and finishing times. MHE has set a finishing time to all Contractors at 24.00.

Profiles

Can anyone join the MHE platform as a Contractor?

Yes, any person is welcome to join MHE as long as they have relative experience in the essay club write my essay rapid the service offered and pay the registration fee.

Does MHE verify the background of all listed Contractors?

MHE does verify the background of many of its Contractors. Random checks are carried out and if false information is found, then Contractor exclusion from the platform may apply, as per the Terms & Conditions.

Booking Your Event

How do I book?

Browse through the different services categories…

  1. Select a service
  2. Choose the contractor
  3. Pick a date & check availability
  4. Book & pay* for your selected services

*Please note that your services will only be booked after payment is made.

Can I amend a booking?

Subject always to the availability of the Contractor, as detailed on the Site, amendments (change of date or service) can be made by a Client 21 days or more prior to the Event without any charge (but thereafter amendments to the Booking will not be possible).

Can I cancel a booking?

  • Cancellations made 21 or more days prior to the start of an Event will be accepted however only 80% of the fee will be refunded to the Client.
  • Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to an Event will be accepted however only 50% will be refunded back to the Client.
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to an Event will be accepted however only 30% will be refunded back to the Client.
  • Cancellations made 72 hours or less than 3 calendar days prior to an Event will be accepted but no refund will be given.

Payment

How can I make a payment?

Payments are made online at the time of booking using PayPal (a PayPal account is not required). Debit and credit cards are also accepted.

How does MHE process the payment?

Customers pay MHE at the time of booking.

MHE will hold the payment until 24 hours after the start of your event, the Contractor will then receive payment. This is to ensure that both parties are in agreement.

Can I pay the Contractor directly?

It is required that payment is made to MHE to complete a booking. This helps MHE to protect both parties under the Terms and Conditions.

Is my payment secure?

Your payment is made securely through a third party payment service, PayPal (paypal account, debit or credit card).

What happens if I am not happy with the service received?

MHE will act as a mediator between the Client and the Contractor to try to find an amicable resolution for the situation, please see Terms & Conditions for details.

How can I get a refund?

You can get a refund via PayPal or bank transfer.

Event Day

What happens on the day of the event?

  1. In the morning you will receive a courtesy call, reviewing details you originally provided.
  2. At the time booked, the Contractor(s) will show up at your doorstep with their tools, ready to provide the agreed service.
  3. Brief the contractor on what is expected, sit back and enjoy the service.

How does the Contractor get to my "home"?

The Contractor will find their own means of transportation.

What happens if the Contractor is delayed?

If faced with any problems or delays, the Contractor should contact you in advance. After 10 minutes of waiting please email MHE, or alternatively use the help desk phone number (01534625406).

What happens if the Contractor does not show up?

MHE will do everything possible to replace the original Contractor. If unable, MHE will refund you the total amount paid for the specific Contractor.

Free Vouchers

When can I use my free voucher?

Your voucher is available from the moment you book and pay for a service, up until the day of the event.

Where can I use my voucher?

You can use your voucher at any of our preferred suppliers.

How do I present my voucher?

You can present your voucher by printing it and presenting it at time of payment with any of our preferred suppliers. You can also present the voucher on your smartphone or tablet.

How much discount will I get?

Discounts vary from supplier to supplier. View the suppliers section for more info.

Reviews

Can I leave a review?

Yes, after the event you will receive a form/link to leave a review.

Who will see my review?

Your review will be added to the Contractor page under reviews, however MHE will monitor and will not tolerate any kind of verbal abuse towards the Contractor. 

If review is found inappropriate, it will not be posted.

What will the review be used for?

The review will help MHE monitor quality of service provided, as well as to provide feedback to other Clients regarding services received.

Contractors

General

How does it work?

  1. Simply register on MHE (Contractor registration the at bottom of the page)
  2. You will then be contacted by MHE
  3. Pay for your registration
  4. Receive a username and password for your profile page login
  5. Login to set up your profile page & availability
  6. Start getting bookings and making some money
  7. Don’t forget to update your availability every day

Can anyone join the MHE platform as a Contractor?

Yes, any person is welcome to join MHE as long as they have relative experience in the service offered and pay the registration fee.

How much do I need to pay?

The registration fee will cost £19.50 and is valid for one year membership.

MHE will discuss with you a transaction commission fee, according to the services that you wish to register at MHE.

Who manages my availability?

You as the Contractor will be running your own calendar. It is important that you keep checking and updating your availability.

What defines 'Home'?

The definition of ‘Home’ for My Home Event is of any space/location that the host considers their space for an event (house, flat, garden, office etc).

Can I amend my profile?

Yes, MHE will help you set up your initial profile, it is then up to you to keep it updated.

What happens if MHE finds false information on my profile page?

For how long will my profile be online?

Your profile will be online for one year from the registration payment date.

How can I stop my membership?

By contacting MHE via email.

Can MHE cancel/delete my services?

Yes, MHE reserves the right to expel your service. Please see Terms & Conditions for more info.

Event Day

What happens on the day of the event?

  1. You will receive a courtesy phone call during the morning reviewing details of your offered service.
  2. You will need to contact MHE one hour before the event with your expected time of arrival to the Client’s “Home”.
  3. As soon as you finish your service you will need to contact MHE with relative feedback.

How do I commute to the location of the event?

It is up to each Contractor to arrange their own transportation to and from the event location.

How do I present myself?

When receiving your login details you will also receive a code of conduct, which includes guidelines for uniform, timings and other details.

What happens if the guest would like me to stay longer than the original booking?

MHE will need to be informed and payment would need to be done through MHE, unless agreed otherwise by MHE.

How and when will I get paid as a Contractor?

Every Contractor will get paid 24 hours after the start of the event; this is to ensure that both parties are satisfied and in agreement.

You will receive payment by PayPal or Bank Transfer.

Can the Client amend or cancel a booking?

Yes, bookings can be amended or cancelled, please see Terms & Conditions for more details.

What happens if the Client is not happy with my services?

Hopefully that will not happen, however, if MHE receives a complaint it will act as moderator to try to find an amicable resolution for both parties, please see Terms & Conditions for more details.

Reviews

Who can leave a review?

Reviews will only be left by Clients who had your services. Reviews will be monitored by MHE and verbal abuse will not be tolerated.

Where will reviews show?

Reviews will be shown on your profile, under the reviews.

Legal

Do I need to be registered as a LTD company or a sole trader to register at MHE?

MHE does not check if you are either a LTD company or a sole trader, however, MHE strongly advises you to be compliant with local legislation.

Do I need to have my own insurance?

MHE does not verify if you have insurance but strongly recommends you to do so.

What happens if I have an accident or damage anything on the Clients property?

MHE cannot be held responsible for your accidents or damages on Clients properties.

MHE strongly recommends you to get an Insurance cover.

Do I need to declare my income to local authorities?

MHE strongly recommends that you comply with all local legislations.

DIRECTORY

Can I advertise on the Directory?

Yes, any individual or company can do so, as long as they are willing to pay the advertisement fee.

How do I advertise my services on the Directory?

  1. You will need to contact MHE
  2. Pay the fees
  3. Send your Brief, contact No., e-mail address and url (if applicable)

How much does it cost?

Fees will be discussed on an individual basis, and depending on exposure desired.

What do I get from my money?

  • Listing on MHE Directory
  • Potential to become a preferred supplier*
  • Once a month mention on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
